Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 installed by Tronic Electrical in Auckland

Tesla Wall Connector Installation Auckland

Tronic Electrical is a Tesla Certified Installer — the crew Tesla itself trusts with its hardware. We supply and install the Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 across Auckland and the greater North Island, for homes, workplaces and fleet sites.

The Wall Connector is the fastest way to charge a Tesla at home, adding up to 120 km of range per hour on a three-phase supply. It's WiFi-connected, weatherproof and pairs with the Tesla app — and with the right settings it charges any EV with a Type 2 socket, not just Teslas.

We're also Tesla certified on the energy side: Powerwall 3 home batteries, installed alongside solar or as standalone backup, designed and commissioned by the same in-house team of Master Electricians.

FAQs

Common questions.

+Do I need a Tesla Certified Installer for a Wall Connector?

Any licensed electrician can legally fit one, but Tesla certification means the installer has been trained on Tesla's hardware, commissioning and load management settings — and installs are done to the standard Tesla expects. Tronic is certified for both Tesla charging and Tesla Powerwall.

+How fast is the Tesla Wall Connector?

On a single-phase supply you'll add around 40 km of range per hour; on three phase, up to 120 km per hour — roughly ten times faster than the mobile charger that comes with the car.

+Can a Tesla Wall Connector charge other EV brands?

Yes. The Gen 3 Wall Connector has a Type 2 connector and can be configured to charge any EV that uses one — so a Wall Connector still makes sense if there's a second, non-Tesla EV in the household.

+Can you install a Powerwall with my Wall Connector?

Yes — we're Tesla certified across charging and energy. Powerwall 3 pairs with solar to store excess daytime production, provides whole-home backup, and can be set up for charge-on-solar so your car soaks up the surplus.
