Your privacy matters to us. We only collect what we need to quote and carry out your job, and we look after it.
01Who we are
Tronic Electrical Limited (“Tronic”, “we”, “us”) is an electrical contractor based at 19 Ormiston Road, East Tāmaki, Auckland. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.tronic.co.nz, over the phone, by email and on site, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
02What we collect
When you request a quote or get in touch, we collect what you give us, which may include:

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing emails without your consent.
04Who we share it with
We only share your information with people who help us deliver our services, and only as much as they need:

Some of these providers store information on servers outside New Zealand, such as in the United States or Australia. We use providers that are required to protect it to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
05Cookies and advertising
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms that uses cookies to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads. It lets us see, for example, that a quote request came from a particular ad. It records pages visited and when a quote form is submitted, along with the type of service requested. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.
You can control ad personalisation in your Meta ad preferences and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
06How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to provide our services, support warranties and meet our legal, tax and electrical certification obligations. Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted when we no longer need them.
07Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it.
08Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. Email admin@tronic.co.nz or call 0800 TRONIC (0800 876 642). We'll respond within 20 working days.
09Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first at admin@tronic.co.nzand we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
